|---|---|---|
| What it is | A small, founder-led studio that designs and builds dental practice websites on Webflow and runs Google and Meta patient ad campaigns. | A dental website and marketing platform: website, hosting, SEO, social media, ads and patient-communication tools, sold as subscription plans. |
| Track record | Launched in 2026. No published client results, testimonials or case studies yet. The portfolio shows concept builds, not client projects. | Says it has worked with dental practices since 2003, is trusted by more than 7,500 dental practices and is endorsed by 16 state dental associations. Reports winning Dentaltown's 2024 Townie Award for website design, its sixth in a row. |
| Pricing model | One-time build fee: 50% at the start, 50% after launch and your sign-off. Monthly services are optional. | Subscription. Its FAQ describes a monthly software, service and support fee, and its published license agreement describes an annual subscription. |
| Published prices | Essential $5,900 (6 pages, about 2 weeks). Growth $8,900 (8 pages + CMS, about 3 weeks), or $1,500 down + $375/mo for 24 months ($10,500 total). Studio $12,500 (11 pages + full CMS, about 4 weeks). $600 per extra page. | Not published. The four plans (Get Started, Competitive Edge, Market Leader, Market Owner) are quoted by phone or in a meeting. Some dental associations list member pricing: the Massachusetts Dental Society lists savings of up to 70% for its members. |
| What you own if you leave | You own the final deliverables made for you once you have paid in full. Third-party parts (platform software, fonts, stock assets) stay under their own licenses, and ClinicEdge Studio keeps its pre-existing tools and templates. On Growth's monthly plan, you own the site at month 24, or earlier if you pay it off. Ad accounts are in your practice's name and stay with you. Ask for the hand-over steps to be written into your proposal. Domain: we recommend registering it in your practice's name. | ProSites' published license agreement says the website, including the graphics and code ProSites provides, is ProSites' property, and that you have no rights to it beyond the terms of your subscription. Your own practice information is excluded from that claim. ProSites' newsletter articles may not be used outside your ProSites site without its written consent. Domain: Not published. |
| Contract length and minimums | No subscription for the build. Growth's monthly option runs 24 months and can be paid off early. Patient ads: 3-month minimum, then month to month with 30 days' written notice. Care, Care+ and Local visibility: month to month, cancel with 30 days' written notice. The signed proposal and Master Services Agreement set the final terms. | The published license agreement sets an initial term of one year, renewed by paying the renewal fees in advance. The fees agreed for the first year can change after that, with at least 30 days' written notice. |
| Refunds | Deposits are non-refundable. If you cancel mid-project, you pay for the work done so far and receive what has been completed. | A refund is possible within 30 days for a pre-designed site with no customization, minus costs such as domain fees. No refund for custom-designed sites. |
| Build process and timeline | Free 15-minute audit, then strategy and a site blueprint, then the Webflow build and launch: about 2, 3 or 4 weeks by plan. You approve the homepage design before the rest is built, with two full revision rounds. If the delivery date in your signed proposal is missed, you get one free month of Care for each week late. | Pre-designed sites can launch a few business days after you approve the content. Semi-custom and custom builds can take longer, depending on revisions and branding, and custom timelines are scoped per project. |
| Who does the work | The founder, Abdullah Talab, leads every project directly and is your point of contact. No account managers. Abdullah is a former dental student now in medical school; he is not a dentist. | ProSites staff. Custom plans work with its design team, a dedicated account manager is included from Competitive Edge up, and its member services team can make site updates for you. |
| Custom design vs templates | Each site is designed for the practice rather than picked from a template library, with a brand identity (logo, colors, fonts) that grows with the plan. | Four design levels: Pre-Designed (ready-made layouts), Semi-Custom (your branding on a custom homepage), Custom (layouts worked out with its design team) and Custom Pro (a fully customized homepage with multiple revision rounds). Plans include 150+ pre-written dental content pages and a drag-and-drop editor. |
| Hosting and upkeep | Built on Webflow. Hosting, security, daily backups, uptime monitoring and a monthly freshness update come with the Care plan ($299/mo; Care+ $499/mo). Each build includes 1 to 3 months of Care, and Growth's monthly plan includes Care. Content edits are $150/hr on Care. | Hosting on infrastructure ProSites says it owns and operates, plus annual domain renewal, email and editor access, all included in the monthly fee. |
| HIPAA approach (as each states it) | HIPAA-aware build. The website is built not to store patient information. Forms and online booking run through vendors that sign a Business Associate Agreement (BAA) with your practice. Compliance also depends on how your team uses those tools and on your own policies. | Describes its Online Forms product as HIPAA compliant. Its Premier package adds a patient portal with online forms and encrypted email. Every plan includes lead forms and online appointment requests. Whether ProSites signs a BAA: Not published. |
| SEO and ads | Every build includes search foundations (page titles, meta descriptions, structured data, sitemap) and Google Business Profile setup. Growth adds one ad platform set up and managed for the first month, plus a landing page. Optional: Local visibility, $799/mo. Patient ads: Capture, $2,000/mo to manage up to $5k/mo in ad spend plus 15% of spend above $5k (one platform), or Full-Funnel, $3,250/mo (Google and Meta, for practices spending $7,500+/mo). Your ad budget is paid to Google or Meta directly. | SEO in every plan, growing by tier: 10 to 100 local business listings, plus monthly backlinks (up to 2, 4 or 6) and custom SEO content pages (up to 2, 3 or 6) on the three higher plans. Premium social media in every plan (weekly posts and a branded Facebook page). Google Search Ads come with Market Owner and are an add-on otherwise, as are social ads and Local Services Ads. Call tracking is in every plan, and a reporting dashboard comes from Competitive Edge up. Prices: Not published. |
| Support | 30 days of post-launch support with every build (bug fixes, small edits up to 30 minutes, CMS help), plus the included Care months. After that, Care or hourly work. You deal with the founder directly. | Unlimited support in all plans, with free upgrades under its FutureNow Assurance program. Its pricing page describes support as available anytime, and its FAQ lists phone support from 6 a.m. to 5 p.m. Pacific. |
Notes on the table:
Weigh this too: ClinicEdge Studio is new. It has no published client results, testimonials or case studies, and it is a small, founder-led studio. The build is paid upfront (half at the start, half after launch and your sign-off), and hosting and upkeep through Care cost $299 a month or more after the included months.
ProSites sells subscription plans that bundle a dental website, hosting and marketing tools, and it says it has worked with dental practices since 2003. ClinicEdge Studio, launched in 2026, builds one custom Webflow website per practice for a published one-time price of $5,900 to $12,500, with optional monthly services. ProSites' published license agreement says the website is ProSites' property (the contract a practice signs may differ), while ClinicEdge Studio's terms give you the final deliverables once you have paid in full. ClinicEdge Studio has no published client results yet.
ProSites does not publish its prices. It quotes by phone or in a meeting, and its FAQ describes a monthly software, service and support fee. ClinicEdge Studio publishes its prices: website builds cost $5,900 (Essential), $8,900 (Growth) or $12,500 (Studio), paid 50% at the start and 50% after launch and sign-off. Growth can also be paid as $1,500 down plus $375 a month for 24 months ($10,500 total). Optional monthly services include Care from $299 a month and patient ads from $2,000 a month plus your ad budget. To compare fairly, get a written quote from ProSites and add up three years of costs for both.
With ClinicEdge Studio, you own the final deliverables made for you once you have paid in full; third-party parts such as platform software, fonts and stock assets stay under their own licenses, and ClinicEdge Studio keeps its pre-existing tools and templates. Ask for the hand-over steps to be written into your proposal. ProSites' published End User License Agreement says the website, including the graphics and code ProSites provides, is ProSites' property, and that you have no rights to it beyond the terms of your subscription. Your own practice information is excluded from that claim, and the contract a practice signs may differ, so ask ProSites for it. Whichever provider you choose, get the domain terms in writing before you sign.
No website provider can make a practice HIPAA compliant on its own; compliance also depends on the agreements your vendors sign and on your own policies. ProSites describes its Online Forms product as HIPAA compliant and offers encrypted email. The public pages we checked do not say whether ProSites signs a Business Associate Agreement (BAA), so ask. ClinicEdge Studio builds HIPAA-aware websites that are designed not to store patient information on the site; forms and online booking run through vendors that sign a BAA with your practice.
ProSites fits if you want an established all-in-one platform with a long dental track record, a fast pre-designed launch, a drag-and-drop editor, and one subscription that covers the website, hosting, SEO and social media. ClinicEdge Studio fits if you want a custom website whose final deliverables you own once it is paid for, published prices and direct access to the founder, and you are comfortable hiring a studio that launched in 2026 and has no published client results yet. Either way, read the contract and ask who owns the site and the domain before you sign.
