What 30-Day Support Includes
Your support period is a safety net for the client, designed to ensure a smooth transition and address any unexpected issues. This typically covers:
- Bug Fixes & Technical Errors: This is the most critical part. You'll fix any technical issues with the website that arise after launch, such as broken links, mobile display errors, or problems with form submissions
- Minor Content Edits: You can offer to fix small typos or make minor text and image edits, but it's important to specify a time limit (e.g., "up to 30 minutes of content updates").
- CMS Assistance: You'll answer questions about how to use the CMS—for example, how to add a new review, create a new blog post, or update team information.
What It Does NOT Include
Just as important is what your support period does not cover. This prevents "scope creep" and ensures you're not doing extra work for free. Make it clear that your support does not include:
- New Features or Functionality: Adding new pages, new sections, or new features like a booking system or a live chat widget. These are new projects and should be quoted separately.
- Major Design Changes: This includes redesigning pages, changing the site's layout, or altering the core branding elements like colors and fonts.
- Content Creation: Writing new text, sourcing new images, or creating new videos. The client is responsible for providing their own content.
